In 2016, Off the Grid was operating 50 public markets, hundreds of private catering events, and just launching its corporate dining service. The logistical and operational challenges of managing hundreds of food trucks across a wide variety of events using Google Sheets and Slack was limiting growth. Hiring developers in the Bay area was an expensive and lengthy process so Off the Grid turned to Admios.
Admios worked with Off the Grid’s CEO and senior technical recruitment staff to establish a long term technology strategy to automate their operational needs: scheduling, document management, communication, payment, menu services, reporting, and more.
One of the main reasons Off the Grid has become the leader in mobile food, serving millions a year, is because it embraces innovation and technology to solve problems. The Off the Grid platform is now used company wide by hundreds of employees, over 300 3rd party food trucks, and hundreds of thousands of hungry residents around the Bay Area.
